The latest set of yarn hauls
So finally some of my photos are back from the developer (maybe I need to ask for a digital camera for the holidays. hmm...) but without further ado:
this was the Web's Haul (and yes, Abi, this is all your fault; until you I never photographed yarn that I just bought.)Just a wee bit more yarn to finish up my one-button cardigan (Valley Yarn Rainbow in Red -- this is an inhouse yarn for webs, produced for them in France) and some #2 short needles for an Jaeger alpaca project I've been thinking about. This was followed up by this purchase:
Now while admittedly there is is only one skein of yarn, and bunny blend of 40% angora and 60% wool, and I think kettledyed, there is also some goatsmilk soap too.
Finally, my Rhinbeck haul:
There are 2 skeins of heavy worsted weight, and 4 of shetland weight. I think the shetland is going into a fair isle something and the worsted weight is headed for felting, maybe a version of the buttonhole bag, from MasonDixon Knitting (which I can't seem to link to right now, or else I would) Note (October 29) The link is: Buttonhole Bag with some stranding. So that's it for now. And yes, I will get my act together and photograph my stash at some point. Really I will.
